Because all have seen,

and some have innocently envied,

such Marital bliss between us for almost 20 years . . .

I am the most qualified to opine:

Although capable of great love for all humanity,

there exists for each of us –

only one absolutely perfect mate.

When you meet, it is impossible to understand

anything other than true love’s Marriage Union,

defined by The Lord’s spark of perfection in us.

Treasured instinctive glances at happiness –

becomes divine inspiration of the millennia.

A smile,

a kiss,

an embrace –

solidifies God’s plan –

for he to leave his mother and father,

and cleave unto his wife –

whom God gloriously made –

as a woman from man’s rib.

In Heavenly promise are they –

male and female;

sexual opposites attracting –

ever yearning for fulfillment.

In beauty is every whispered vow –

of love and Marriage,

of God’s perfect design.

Ordained by our Lord,

of Marriage in promise;

and in remembrance,

of The Divine,

Inseparable Love,

between the three.

Between God our Father,

The Groom,

And The Spirit-filled Bride.

If I had been faithfully raised up,

as a young child –

All of The Holy,

Matrimonial promises,

would have been this Bride’s wisdom.

I would not have floundered in sinful ignorance.

I would have waited in sacred promise,

for my one best and true love;

chosen for me by God.

So clearly, what has proven to be true;

For me, It was always to have been you.
